Gret has been the “Lunch Lady” at Newton since 2016.  She has lived in Strafford since 2004.  She moved to VT from CT where she was a veterinary assistant and the caretaker of the First Company Governor’s Horse Guards in Avon CT.  There she took care of 39 mounts for the National Guards and CT Military Department.  Once in VT she has worked for Trafalgar Square Publishing,  the Sharon Trading Post, the Valley News in Advertising Support, the Accounting Department at the Hanover Inn in Hanover NH. One of her craziest and most memorable jobs was as a Zamboni driver for the International Skating Center in Simsbury, CT. She has a wonderful daughter who attended Newton and a great husband.  They have two dogs, a cat, and various other yard critters from time to time. Gret enjoys the outdoors, skiing, hiking, walking in the woods, pretty much anything that requires fresh air and moving your body.  She and her husband love their motorcycle, the beach and family road trips.
