Technology

Middle schoolers work with first graders as part of the international Hour of Code

Technology classes are offered to middle school students, and are taught by Simone Pyle, Library Media Specialist.

Grade 6 has technology once a week for the entire academic year. Students can keep track of assignments and resources on their Google Classroom page; additional resources can be found on the library website.

Grades 7 & 8 may select up to three technology electives each year; these classes meet twice a week for one quarter. For the academic year 2016-17, the electives offered are:

Computer Literacy
Web Building and Design
Your Digital World
Exploratory

Each class will have its own Google Classroom.

Student work from our technology classes can often be found at the library’s blog¬†or on our Twitter feed.
